About Advanced Eye Care
Drs. Summer, Schefkind, and Braun are board certified ophthalmologists,
medical doctors who specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of
eye diseases. Each has extensive training and experience in all
aspects of ophthalmology, from routine examinations for eyeglasses
and contact lenses to laser and microsurgery and the latest in refractive
surgical techniques.

contact lenses in our offices. We recommend the purchase of your
glasses at our optical dispensaries. Our doctors work closely
with our opticians to assure quality and accuracy in each pair
of glasses.

Appointments
Our doctors are available at two locations in Northern Virginia.
We see patients by appointment with some evening
hours available. Our staff will provide you with directions to
either our Springfield or Alexandria office. We are available
to you immediately in case of emergency and can be reached after
hours through an answering service by calling (703) 360-0111.
Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to keep
an appointment.
Staff members
will be happy to schedule your appointments, answer questions
and relay information to team members during these hours.
